Our History
The Printing Industries of Wisconsin honored Imperial Lithographing Corp. in May of 1999 with the Century Globe Award denoting 100 years of Operation. After prohibition, Imperial became a label printer for local brewing companies that included Schlitz, Gettleman and Pabst. As the demands of clients and ownership changed hands, Imperial attained the reputation of printing quality multicolor commercial printing, becoming the first Milwaukee printer to install four-color 40″ equipment. As technology became available, Imperial improved production and quality by adding six-color equipment. Imperial has continued to meet their client’s needs, adding many of the latest pre-press, print and finishing equipment in the industry.
